Great risk management planning tool: The Hallmarks of Risk-Aware Nonprofits

The Nonprofit Risk Management Center offers a number of useful free resources and Web tools, and this one is no exception. The "Hallmarks" tool is designed to get nonprofit staff thinking about potential future risks and to plan for the sudden real-world changes that can impact a nonprofit in positive or negative ways (depending on their level of preparedness). The tool profiles 12 hallmarks of risk-aware organizations, each followed by practical suggestions and additional resources to help you get started with your own internal risk management planning.
