Mentor-Mentee Matching Instruments/Tools

Hi Folks -
I'm looking for a matching tool. I have a simple interest survey that my mentors and mentees fill out. We use this to match by interest areas. It works but I know there are better quality tools and processes out there. In addition to the survey, we consider other information we gather during the interview such as background and personal characteristics (temperament, personality etc.). The research is pointing more and more to the importance of a quality match, and we want to do our best to ensure success from the get-go. Does anyone have a tool or suggestions they'd be willing to share?

This looks like a pretty great resource. It's not a tool, but lists some great guidelines to consider. I hope it helps!

Hi Kathy,
I've attached the two documents we use when matching. We also ask the students questions about the types of things they would like to do with their mentors, future career interests, hobbies, etc.
