Here are some good online resources for gardening activities for youth,

1. This wonderful site has everything from gardening activities, to
parent/teacher guides, to sources for grants to support kid's gardening.
Whether you are starting a group or school project, or you have matches
that want to do some gardening together, this site has it all:

2. Another useful site, "The Edible Schoolyard" comes from the Martin
Luther King Middle School in Berkeley, which has a renowned organic
garden, and kitchen, which are wholly integrated into the school's
curriculum. The site has info about the garden/kitchen and activities
and recipes. There is a great links section that includes online sites
for environmental education for kids, along with some info on funding
these types of activities: http://www.edibleschoolyard.org/resources
