This is a brand new OJJDP initiative. It supports efforts of community service organizations to develop or enhance their mentoring capacity, facilitate outreach efforts, and increase the availability of direct services for child victims (younger than age 18) of commercial sexual exploitation (CSE) or domestic sex trafficking (DST).

  • Amount is $500,000 total for 2-3 years
  • Funding appears to be for victims or youth at-risk of CSE/DST -- as with all RFPs I recommend reading the RFP carefully and contacting OJJDP for clarification where needed
  • Note that Mentees must be younger than 18 years old
  • Eligible applicants must make the program available to girls and boys
