Friends for Youth's Mentoring Institute is beginning a monthly Webinar series in August.

Social Media & Mentoring: Policies, Gaps, Boundaries
Tuesday, August 17, 2010
10:00 – 11:15 am PDT

Social media and networking offer numerous ways to professionally engage with youth, serving both program needs and youth adaptability. However, technology can also bring up questions about safety, boundaries, and appropriateness. Social Media and Mentoring: Policies, Gaps, and Boundaries will explore social media and networking options and provide space for dialogue to explore safety and ethical considerations.

Register HERE and see more details about system requirements. After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Webinar.

Help create some of the content in the Webinar by sharing with us about how you’re using technology and, more specifically, social media and networking within your youth services.

Take the survey HERE and add your experience to our report! There is an option at the very end to submit your name to be entered in a raffle prize - $100 in resources from Friends for Youth’s Mentoring Institute (including products or conference registration) or a $25 gift card to Amazon.

Survey closes August 10, 2010 so don’t delay – TAKE THE SURVEY NOW!

Thank you for your ongoing support of our work and please forward this information on to others who would benefit from it.
