Mentoring Lifecycle in training

Does anyone have an interactive method of teaching incoming volunteer mentors the "Mentoring Lifecycle"?
We incorporate this in our mentor training but it is more lecture coupled with handouts. On today's webinar of training benchmarks it was recommended this be interactive.
Any suggestions/resources?
