About the Publications and Research topic area

Hi everyone! In addition to serving as the overall Administrator for the Forums, I'm also the "editor" of this topical section, which focuses on new publications, research reports, and other products and materials of interest to youth mentoring professionals.

You can read my general "welcome" message for the Forums here, if you haven't already.

For this section, my goal is to create a really helpful repository of information about mentoring resources: guidebooks, training curricula, policy manuals, mentoring-themed nonfiction, etc. There are new publications about youth mentoring coming out all the time and I hope this is a place where we can discuss these resources and help each other find tools that can help us run our programs.

I also hope we discuss new (and past) mentoring research here. One of the most difficult aspects of running a program is keeping up on the latest research and understanding what it means for program practice.

So please post any questions you have about mentoring publications or resources here. I'll be chiming in with new things as I come across them and I hope you will do the same.
