Good news: An extra $20 million for mentoring through OJJDP

The always-informative Youth Today has a great write-up on this, but the gist is that $20 million for youth mentoring has been added to OJJDP's portion of the fiscal 2010 omnibus spending bill signed by President Barack Obama on Dec. 16.

According to the article, the administration will also report within 60 days on the criteria and methodology it would use to award the grants. So keep your eyes peeled for new funding opportunities in the near future!
