Friends for Youth invites you to join us at the 11th Annual Mentoring Conference, Youth Mentoring 2.0: The Impact of Technology on Programs and Relationships, in Northern California on January 21 and 22, 2010.

From program management to volunteer recruitment, from mentor screening to match monitoring, from how mentors communicate with program staff to how they communicate with their mentees, and from agency marketing to soliciting donors, new technology can have a direct impact on youth mentoring programs. This year, we address some of these aspects of how technology – like online program management systems, social networking tools, and web marketing – either helps or hinders youth mentoring relationships and the programs that support them. Our goal, as always, is for participants to walk away with concrete tools and practical suggestions to easily implement into their new or existing programs, making both attendees and their programs stronger and better able to serve their communities.

Do you have a particular technology that you use or created? Does your program use technology in an innovative way? Contact me ASAP for opportunities to present and/or exhibit.
