This great new database from Harvard includes 15 assessment tools that can be used to measure performance of informal and out-of-school science, technology, engineering and math programs. The database can be searched by age-group, assessment type or specific criteria. Tools are included for measuring everything from children's perceptions of scientists to the real-life applicability of scientific skills and knowledge. Most of the tools are free, and the users can read and write reviews of the tools (it is new, so most of the tools don't yet have posted reviews). It has a very usable interface, and should be really useful for school-based, STEM, 4-H and other mentoring programs focused on math, science and technology.
